“This man is a serial fucker, but now we already know a lot about the company, where it is based in the desert and what it does. I think we no longer need him.” Evelyne said about Alphas.
“Yes, but let us keep him alive a little more since if you heard well, he is so far their most reliable driver meaning if he is grounded, something might not work there.” Kimberly said.
Evelyne looked into the map that Ken had obtained for them. It was all beginning to make sense. The map was a highly detailed geological map. But so many things on the map did not make sense to her.
“I think I need a geologist now.” Evelyne said.

“I hope it is not about the church.” Sabina said.
“What made you suddenly hate the church?” Victor asked.
“Let us not go there, what is the matter?” Sabina asked.
“The issue is, someone seems interested in some history which touches the Bible and I feel you can be of some assistance.” Victor said.
“I am ok with it, but he is going to pay me. My knowledge is no longer free.” Sabina said over the phone.
“Fine, you shall negotiate on your terms.” Victor told Sabina.
“Ok. When?” Sabina asked.
“She is available even tomorrow if you are around.” Victor said.
“I am not available tomorrow, probably next week. Right now, there is a historical research I am doing on the role of King Solomon in shaping Africa in the past. How he had some gold mines in Congo, and knew there were oil deposits in Kenya hence why he had some keen interest in Africa.” Sabina said.
“Wow! and that is exactly why I am working where I am working!” Victor said.
“What do you mean?” Sabina asked.
“I got employed in a company called GLOIL and it seems it has discovered the best oil deposits in in the world which happen to be in Kenya. So, you probably might be of help to them too.” Victor told Sabina.
“Fine, I will make a point of meeting your friend. Tell her I will be available as from next week. Seems there was a lot left out in the bible, as on, nowhere is it documented that Solomon once visited Kenya, or the land south of Cush as they refer it in the bible and I am interested in knowing more about it. That is the history I am doing now.” Sabina said.
“Tomorrow we are leaving for Limuru.” Florence told them.
“I just spoke with my friend; she is ready to meet you as from next week. Then something interesting she just told me: she is doing a history on why King Solomon had a keen interest in the land south of Cush as known by then which is the current land of Kenya. She even said something more interesting…” Victor paused to make sure they were paying attention.
“What?” Florence asked following keenly.
“That Solomon knew that the land south of Cush had the finest oil in the then world, they probably mined it to use in his palace. But it was never documented in the Bible.” Victor said.
“Wow! wonderful! I think I should meet your friend even tomorrow. I will organize with the directors and we shall pay her handsomely for her piece of information.” Florence said.
“King Solomon must have been such a wise guy, how on earth did he even get to know about Kenya that long time ago? I mean, those people had no satellites, had no fast transport and you want to tell me he
knew about Kenya all the way from Israel?” Alphas asked.
“That is what the wisdom of God does for you, once you accept God, you get know everything.” Victor said.
“Eh! Ok. I don’t know if to agree with you, but it is obvious the man had a lot of knowledge of about everything. I wish to meet your friend too; I need to know more.” Alphas said.
“You shall meet her. Formerly a nun. She made me believe in God.” Victor said.
Alphas just smiled. He did not believe much of religious believes but held the idea that there is a supreme being who is responsible for the universe.
“Oil moves the world, virtually everything uses some product made out of it. So, King Solomon must have
known that if at all your story is true.” Florence told Victor.
“Not my story, I also just heard it.” Victor said smiling.
Up a certain hill, Ken, Fernandez and Bladen were just relaxing watching with their powerful binoculars to see if anything needed them to act. But the entire place seemed so peaceful such that it was a little mystery to them.

The following morning, Alphas and Victor were to go back to Limuru.
“Our able drivers, we are not setting speed limits for you, just hit the road and let us meet once you get there.” The director told Alphas and Victor as they were about to leave. Alphas was carrying the top directors of the company, one of them being Ronald.
Florence was also with them. In total he was carrying 5 of them squeezed together to fit into the car as none wanted to miss a chance being carried by the best driver they had.
Victor too was carrying some directors. Others were to use normal cars seeing that they had no enough fuel for all special cars.
On the road, Alphas maintained a top speed of 270 km/h whenever he could find himself on a clear road stretch. That was high speed such that Victor was unable to keep up with him.
Alphas wanted to get to his destination fast, call Karina and meet with her seeing that she was getting obsessed with him.
Ken on the other hand with his team followed from a distance.
“How fast is that man moving?” Fernandez asked seeing that Ken was unable to keep up with the pace.
He could not even overtake Victor leave alone get to Alphas.
“I don’t know.” Ken said.
“Let me drive.” Fernandez said.
They quickly exchanged and Fernandez took the wheel.
“I am going to see how fast this machine can move….” Fernandez said as he got on the road. He hit the accelerator literally such that the double cabin literally seemed to jump as it began moving. He kept going until the car was doing its top most speed.
“Hey, mate, something is burning.” Bladen said. He could feel an odd smell coming out of the vehicle.
“We need to keep going.” Fernandez said. He was surpassed that the road had been tarmacked such that the drive was so smooth. He was overtaking other vehicles so fast, at some point even forcing other vehicles to step out of the way for him to pass.
“Man, you need to stop, this vehicle cannot take it anymore.” Ken said. He could feel it, the car was falling apart.
Fernandez could not accept being defeated. He ignored Ken and Bladen and kept going. Other motorists
were warning him on the road due to his speed.
Fernandez could feel the adrenaline in him flowing in his veins literally. His veins popping out, he kept
going.
The smell of something burning intensified.
Ken and Bladen held their breath. All they wished is they would not get an accident otherwise it was obvious they would hardly survive a crush.
Fernandez saw someone flashing lights for him from behind. He then pointed at the car. Ken slowly
“The tires are on fire!” Ken shouted.
The car was like a comet moving in space leaving a tail of fire behind it. It was burning and Fernandez was
not letting go the sight of Victor since Alphas was way ahead of them.
“I am not stopping!” Fernandez said.
Suddenly, the fire got to the engine. The entire car seemed like it was on fire. Bladen and Ken looked at
each other. They could not jump outside from a car moving at such speed.
“Stop the car! You are going to get us killed!” Bladen said.
The flames got inside the car. Fernandez was notstopping. Ken thought of pointing his pistol to Fernandez
to force him to stop.
However, before Ken would do that, Fernandez hit emergency brakes. As soon as the car grinded to a halt,
Ken and Bladen jumped outside and rolled onto the roadside after throwing anything important out of
the car. Fernandez was the last to leave. His shirt was already burning and he quickly removed it.
“This is what we call the end of the road.” Fernandez said sounding frustrated.
“Whatever fuel those cars are using must be out of this world!” Bladen said watching as the car continued
to burn.
“There goes my car, what next?” Ken said looking around. They were in the middle of nowhere. He was
even thinking of hijacking another car but the fact that it would probably be a slower car made him feel
defeated.
